How FBR Digital Invoicing works in BarkahSuite
Each company enters its own PRAL security token, NTN and business details once in Company Settings. From then on, invoices are submitted directly from the screens your team already uses.
- B2B sales invoices (Sales & Distribution) — buyer NTN/CNIC, registered or unregistered buyer, HS code, sales tax rate and value per line
- Retail POS sales — submitted in real time on every sale, with the FBR invoice number printed on the receipt
- Sandbox mode with PRAL test scenarios, then switch to production when FBR approves you
- FBR invoice number and status stored on every document for audit and re-submission
- Credentials kept per company — never shared between companies on the platform
Who needs FBR integration?
Sales tax registered businesses that FBR has notified for Digital Invoicing — manufacturers, importers, distributors, wholesalers and Tier-1 retailers — must report invoices electronically. BarkahSuite covers the full chain: purchase, stock, sales invoice, FBR submission and accounting.
- Manufacturers and distributors issuing sales tax invoices
- Tier-1 retailers and chain stores using POS
- Restaurants and cafés required to issue FBR receipts
- Importers and wholesalers reporting B2B invoices
More than an FBR connector — a complete ERP
Because invoicing lives inside the ERP, every FBR invoice also updates stock, the customer ledger, sales tax payable and your financial statements automatically.
- Sales orders, delivery orders, invoices, returns and collections
- Inventory with multi-warehouse stock and valuation
- Automatic journal entries, sales tax accounts and party ledgers
- Reports: sales register, tax reports, aging, P&L and balance sheet
Frequently asked questions
Is BarkahSuite connected to the official FBR / PRAL API?
Yes. BarkahSuite uses the PRAL Digital Invoicing (DI) API. You enter the security token issued to your business by PRAL, test in sandbox and then go live in production.
Can POS receipts be reported to FBR in real time?
Yes. In POS mode every sale is submitted as it is completed and the FBR invoice number is printed on the receipt.
Do I need separate software for FBR integration?
No. FBR submission is part of the Sales & Distribution and POS modules, so there is no extra middleware to buy or maintain.
Can I try it before buying?
